Hi, I’m Linda Browne.
I’m an LGBTQ+ writer of middle grade and YA fiction, especially historical fiction and fantasy.
I’m currently working on a YA-crossover sci-fi fantasy that explores AI with some LitRPG elements.
I’ve recently completed a middle grade steampunk novel called Shadow Apprentice. I am currently exploring both traditional publishing and indie publishing options for this book. (An earlier excerpt from this manuscript was longlisted in CANSCAIP’s 2020 Writing for Children Competition.)
My first novel, The Land Between, a middle grade time travel adventure, was longlisted for the 2017 Times Chicken House Children’s Fiction Competition.
My creative non-fiction article, The Murakami Method: Re-writing Long COVID, will be published in the anthology Bad Artist: Essays on Unconventional Creativity (2023).
